Selfie Jump Shots

I love actions shots.

Growing up in the world of gymnastics I loved when someone was captured in the middle of a great skill. This translated when I started getting older starting taking pictures for the yearbook first in middle school and then in high school.
One of my favorite action shots is jumping pictures. I'm obsessed to a degree where I have it down to just me, a tripod and a self timer.

Gamma Phi Girls 

A little about myself....

I realized that I've never had any formal introduction of myself:

This is me:

I am a 22 year old 5th year at The Ohio State University. 

I love history and astronomy, but my passion lies in photography.

I come from a very big military family. 

I have: 

1 mom

1 sister

1 niece

2 nephews

2 dads &

4 brothers.

and about 50 aunt, uncles and cousins! 

As much as I hate having my own picture taken, I love being a part of a professional magazine cover shoot! 

I am also engaged to this wonderful man and we are planning to get married September 2015.

GALAXY SLIME!!!!

 As most women I LOVE Pinterest.

So as I was browsing this caught my eye. I showed it to the kids and the were on board automatically.

Introducing Galaxy Slime!

We had to make some slight adjustments, like making our own watercolor paints!

Ingredients Used: 

Crayola Water Colors

Fine Glitter Packs

Elmer Clear School Glue

Sta-Flo Liquid Starch

I couldn't find liquid watercolors like the original called for so instead we made our own. We just popped out the colors from the Crayola water color pack and put in 1/2 cup of steaming hot water and let it dissolve. 

The kids then made the individual colors needed: Blue, Black, Purple and White along with an assortment of different glitter in each color.

After we were done mixing the individual colors we mixed them all together to create our "Galaxy Slime"

When in doubt...cut it out

My cat Bernard has had this greasy sticky stuff in his tail for 3 months now, and nothing I have done has washed it out....

So being fed up with it I decided to cut it out....

Obvious to say I tried to even out the spot and ended up making his tail extremely awkward looking. 

Farmers Market: Hilliard, Ohio

Driving home from work I saw a sign that normal I pass every week, today was different and I stopped.

The Hilliard Farmers Market. 

It was a lot smaller than most farmer markets I've been to but its a small town in Ohio.

I got some great deals on fruit, vegetables & other home made goods!

Those American Sorority Girls : Gamma Phi Session One Part Two

This is the second part of my Gamma Phi Beta photo shoot.
For the second part of the shoot we went to Easton Town Center and took pictures around their great fountains and architecture. (It's one of the coolest malls I've ever been too)
